Conwell Home Center is a locally owned, family business and your one stop shop for everything you need to survive and thrive on the Outer Cape. We are proud to be an Ace Hardware, but we have so much more to offer than just the "nuts and bolts". Some of our highlights are our Benjamin Moore Paints, RadioShack electronics department, lumber yard, garden center, and copy/business center. Conwell Ace has been Provincetown’s locally owned home improvement retailer since 1988. We work hard to stock more options than what can be found in a typical Home Center and we are always thinking outside the box. As part of our commitment to Provincetown and the Cape, we are constantly improving our store to meet the evolving needs of our community.
Our Roots
Started circa 1916, the Higgins Lumber Company operated on a wharf, barging in lumber for the town's rapid growth. In 1945 they relocated and built the structure that now houses Conwell Home Center to be near a rail road spur. In keeping with our roots, we continue to sell an extensive lumber assortment. If you need just a small piece of wood, we’ll sell you just a small piece of wood, and cut it for you to size.

If you don’t see what you need, you don’t have to go to Hyannis to get it! Let us know and we’ll special order it for you to pickup in-store, or you can have it delivered right to your doorstep. Also, we now offer an online shopping option with access to Ace's extensive catalog of items that can be shipped directly to our store if we currently don't stock that item.
